This quiet, resort-style hotel is located on a hill overlooking Matsukawaura Bay and Prefectural Natural Park, with views of the great outdoors from every one of its 25 guest rooms. The rooms include Japanese-style and Western-style accommodations, and even include a special room in which the Heisei Emperor and Empress have stayed. The hotel also features the only hot spring bathing facilities in the area, and the spacious public baths include two open-air options made of natural rock fed by a source some 1,200 meters below ground. All the multi-course meals are prepared from the freshest natural ingredients from local farms and fisheries.
